I800 in the mail

It has been a tough couple of days around here. We are so happly to get our LOA. Upon receiving it I moved right on to the next form. All 10 pages of it. Ugh! Luckily I saved it. Last week the computer had a virus and Doug thought he got it. Apparently not. Just when I needed the computer desperately so I could finish all of the required forms, the virus struck again. It is a bad one! By Gods grace we were able to log on long enough to get everything together. The I800 and the stack of things to go with it are on the way to the CIS for another approval.

I happened to check the iPod for email while Doug went to FedEx and to my wonderful surprise there was an Olivia update. I went to the computer to see the new pictures and printed one of each! So cute! She has a big smile in each picture! That was so nice to see. I would post them but as soon as the pictures printed....... that virus struck again. Doug has spent hours trying to figure this one out.

Olivia's cleft looks just like that of the little girl in the video in the previous post. We just pray that Olivias surgery turns out as well as that little girls.

Cleft video

Doug's brother sent this video of a little girls cleft before and after surgery.  It is so good!  We thought everyone might enjoy seeing it.

A day of Celebration!

We are celebrating a 21st birthday today!  Where does time go?  Life is good for our beautiful girl!

We are also celebrating fantastic news!  We received our letter of approval from China!  Yea! God continues to answer the prayers of our heart.  I don't know why, but today I just really felt like we needed to receive our approval.  I had prayed about it in church yesterday and it was nagging at me all morning.   LOA makes us one step closer to bringing home our girl. It is a big step.  If only there weren't quite so many steps!  We waited 47days for LOA.  Not to burst any bubbles but now we wait for the next thing.  Anyway, we have to file our i800 and then DS230.  Yeah, I don't know what they are either, just a lot of things to take a little more precious time.  Time my girl could be home with us, but we'll get there.  Yes we will.  We are told that at this point we will travel in 3-4 months.  We are praying that we can get her home by the first of the new year.    She most definately has to be here before her 3rd birthday.  We insist!

Growing

She is growing!  Olivia Kate looks older is these pictures and we did receive an update that she is now 24 lbs and 30 in.  Yeah!  It is a small thing and yet really big for a little one with a cleft.

I would love to be able to share more news but that is all for now.  We just wait.
