Olivia did a great job travelling. We went from train from Guangzhou to Hong Kong late on Wednesday, followed by a long flight to Detroit on Thursday and a short flight to Indy. Olivia slept a lot and did great when she was awake.
I didn't know how she would react when we arrived at the airport, but she did great. It didn't take long at all for her to warm up to her sister and brothers. Mark, Joan, and Laurie made the trip up from Louisville and the Knapps came down from Carmel as well to greet us at the airport. It was so much fun to see Olivia interact with Melissa, Michael, and Connor that I had to be reminded by Melissa to go get our luggage.
When we got home we were immediately greeted by our neighbors, the Snyders. Inside, the kids had decorated for Olivia's arrival.
Olivia seemed to feel right at home.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful reunion. The pictures are terrific (a great family pic!) and the story wonderful. You look great even after your long flight, the house welcoming and Olivia seems to already feel at home! Praise the Lord. It made us think of how heaven is being prepared for us -so far beyond anything we can imagine just as Olivia is going to experience so much more than she could have imagined.
